The location of the Haterleigh Heritage Inn is perfect to enjoy Victoria with or without a car. The map below shows our Inner Harbour location, just 200 yards from the Coho Ferry, Victoria Express from Port Angeles and The Clipper from Seattle. Guest parking is off the street, but you really don't need a car given our central location, and all the public transportation and tours (including horse-drawn carriages!) that are available within a few minutes walk from the Inn.

By Air

Victoria has excellent Air service to mainland Canada and the United States from the Victoria International Airport, directly to the Inner Harbour with the scenic floatplanes, and by sea/ land from numerous ferry services.

By Sea / Land

The VICTORIA CLIPPER is a passenger only ferry from Seattle to downtown Victoria and is the best way to get here from Seattle if you are not bringing a car. Reservations on the Clipper can be made for you by our Concierge by calling toll free to 1-866-234-2244.

From Vancouver, BC FERRIES operates regular service from 7.00 a.m. to 9.00 pm from Tsawwassen (1/2 hour drive south of Vancouver) to Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island, 30 minutes north of Victoria. Reserve online here.

If you do not wish to bring a car, PACIFIC COACH LINES (1-800-661-1725) picks up in both downtown Vancouver and at Vancouver International Airport.

From Washington State, Washington State Ferries operates from Anacortes, some 2 hours drive North from Seattle, picks up in the San Juan islands, and continues to Sidney BC on the Island, 30 minutes from Victoria.

The Coho Ferry operates from Port Angeles to Victoria, a crossing of 1 and 1/2 hours, for vehicles and passengers.
